FROM VENICE MARCO POLO AIRPORT: Marco Polo International Airport is situated in Tessera, 12 km by car and 10 km by motorboat from Venezia. To reach Venice from the airport you have the following options: - ACTV public bus to Piazzale Roma. ACTV tickets are valid on all local lines for sixty minutes from the validation time, so passengers can make unlimited journeys. Alternatively, you can buy a 10 single ticket 'carnet'. Each ticket must be validated before use and shown together with the matrix (last ticket of the book). Carnet tickets are available from ACTV-authorised sellers and ACTV ticket offices in Piazzale Roma, Calle dei Fuseri and Lido. - ATVO bus for Piazzale Roma (approx. 30 minutes). The ATVO ticket is valid for one single journey only. - Private car/taxi (approx. 18 euros). - Private water taxi (approx. 80 euros). - The Alilaguna water shuttle operates a direct passenger service between Venice (San Marco) and its airport. Tickets can be bought directly on board without any supplement. From San Marco you can take the ACTV water bus number 1 or N (at night) to reach the hotel. Get off at Santa Lucia railway station. Tickets can be bought at the ticket counters, or directly on the boats by paying a small supplement. ARRIVING BY TRAIN: Venezia S. Lucia train station is situated in Cannaregio, near Piazzale Roma. The hotel is just 200 metres from the station. ARRIVING BY CAR OR BUS: The furthest you can go with your car is to the Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto car parks. From there you have the following options: - From Piazzale Roma take ACTV line 1 or N (at night), departing every 10 - 12 minutes. Get off at the Santa Lucia railway station stop. Tickets can be bought at the ticket counters, or directly on the boats by paying a small supplement. - From Tronchetto takes line 82 or N to Santa Lucia. - A private water taxi would cost about 30 euros.
